ABOUT BSATES (National Partner of IIT BOMBAY STP under Hybrid Model)

Introduction

Baba Saheb Ambedkar Technical Educational Society (a Society with National Presence) was established in 1996 by group of professionals dedicated for the upliftment of disadvantageous groups of the Society. It recognizes not only the reserved groups Scheduled in the Constitution of India but also includes women, candidates below Poverty Line who are unable to pursue formal education in urge to earning their livelihood, Wards of Deceased Army and Police personnel, Wards of Widows and specially the School Dropouts. BSATES is a prominent organization in India which is ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 21001:2018 certified, committed to advancing technical and vocational education, especially among marginalized and underrepresented communities. Founded with a vision of empowerment through education, BSATES aims to provide accessible, quality, and skill-based education that aligns with industry standards, thereby fostering sustainable economic and social development. The EdTech Department of BSATES is Lean Six Sigma Certified for Quality Control and Execution.

Infrastructure and Resources

BSATES has a strong infrastructure base with well-equipped labs, libraries, and workshops where students gain hands-on experience. Many of their centres also include virtual labs and e-learning resources, allowing students to access study materials, tutorials, and practice simulations for better learning outcomes.

Collaborations and Partnerships

To stay aligned with industry standards and ensure that students gain relevant skills, BSATES has formed partnerships with various industrial organizations, government agencies, and academic institutions. These collaborations help bring real-world experience into the classroom, give students exposure to industry environments, and provide job placement support through job fairs and campus recruitment.

Social initiatives

BSATES also undertakes community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about the importance of technical education and the career opportunities it can unlock. Their programs often include scholarships, fee waivers, and mentorship support for students from underprivileged backgrounds.
